From 11 to 13 April, 2016 the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) – one of the world's largest events for foreign direct investments – will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre. This year the theme of AIM is ‘The New World of Foreign Direct Investments, Key Features and Best Practices.’

The three-day forum will be held under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

The upcoming 6th meeting in Dubai will be the largest event within the frame of which members of the government and private sector will discuss issues related to investment activities, including those of regulatory policy for new forms of FDI. During the event a conference of competent leaders will be held, as well as an exhibition, round table with participation of representatives of ministries, also debates of global leaders, presentation of countries, seminars on creating efficiency, bilateral government meetings, meetings in B2B and B2G format.

Investment opportunities of Belarus will be presented by the National Agency of Investment and Privatization.

Each year, AIM receives more than 120 participating countries, about 100 heads of states and governments, 15,000 businessmen and investors, and announces the signing of numerous projects worth billions of dollars.

One of the main objectives of AIM is to serve as a global strategic platform for cooperation of the business community, holding of meetings with potential partners and financial institutions.
