UAE investor to develop 2nd town hospital territory in Minsk

The erection of public and commercial facility on the site of the 2nd Hospital in Minsk will be held by KPI Development Company. This was announced at the end of the press conference “On results of socio-economic development of the city” with the participation of Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Andrei Shorets.

The Minsk City Executive Committee has concluded an investment agreement with the company from the United Arab Emirates Kopaonik Property Investment. The customer is the company set up in Minsk – KPI Development.

“Now project documentation is being developed, and I think that we will begin to clear the platform early next year. Given the fact that they know how to build fast, in a qualitative manner, interesting, very soon there will be a good object, which will decorate the city ”,  said Shorets.

It is expected that a multipurpose complex with a hotel, business center, restaurant and boutique area will be built. “This will be the object of social and shopping destination with an interesting and bold architecture,” said Shorets and suggested that the project would soon be presented to the public.

According to him, the negotiations were long; the company has not previously worked in Belarus. It is planned to demolish the pavilion of the exhibition complex Belexpo down Yanka Kupala Street in order to realize the project.

Kopaonik Property Investment is part of Royal Group investment fund, whose president is Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
