A specialized international conference "Public-private partnership in Germany and Belarus: a comparative analysis and recommendations" will be held on September 27 in Minsk (President Hotel).

The main goal of the event is to support the development of PPPs in Belarus by demonstrating modern approaches and practices to the implementation of public-private partnership projects that are applied in Germany and are designed to expand the spheres of economic cooperation between the two countries.

The conference will be attended by experts with considerable experience in the study of PPP issues, the formation of a legislative framework, the development and implementation of specific public-private partnership projects, representatives of government bodies, German and Belarusian companies interested in participating in PPP projects.

In the framework of panel discussions, the meeting participants will discuss the specifics of the development of the public-private partnership between the two countries, the prospects for implementing PPPs in the international context. Experts from Germany will share with their Belarusian colleagues long-term experience in the practical application of PPP for the development of healthcare facilities, education and transport infrastructure. In addition, the experience of Belarus in the formation of appropriate conditions for the introduction of PPPs into the economic practice of the country, as well as pilot projects under preparation will be presented.

The organizers of the event are the German-Belarusian Economic Club, the International Law Firm Arzinger & Partners, the National Agency of Investment and Privatization.
