Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Kalinin noted that this investment project is very successful. "Several tasks are planned within the framework of the project: First, we have completed the modernization of production at the existing urban site. Volma Corporation and the German company Knauf are building a new plant together. It is favorable for us that an international company has come to Belarus and operates in the building materials market not only in Europe, but also in Russia, Central and East Asia. This includes new markets, a modern commodity distribution network that will allow supplying at least 70% of the output for export, " he stressed.

Yuri Goncharov said that the payback period of the new plant will be 14.5 years. "According to the decree, we have assumed the obligation to invest 43 million euros, but now we are reaching 67-68 million euros. Additional funds have been spent on external infrastructure, initially there was no pre-mix shop in the project, it was an import substitution building product. About 60 million euros have been invested, " he added.
The capacity of the new plant will be 30 million square meters of plaster wallboards, 500,000 square meters of slabs and 120,000 tons of dry mortars a year.
