The entire "Silk Belt" tied up into a tight trading hub. The venue of the China International Import Expo is the world's largest exhibition complex. The first import exhibition was opened by Chairman of the PRC Xi Jinping. More than 3,600 companies from around the world take part in the large-scale trading forum. According to experts, the exhibition will be visited by about 400,000 Chinese and foreign representatives.
Today, November 6, the national exposition of Belarus opened. Chinese-Belarusian industrial park “Great Stone”, the National Agency of Investment and Privatization, the Ministry of Transport, and the Ministry of Industry presented their achievements. The tourist opportunities of Minsk were also presented. Negotiations of the Belarusian and Chinese official delegations are also planned.
During the first day of the exhibition, the Belarusian side presented the products of pulp and paper production of the Bellesbumprom concern, Svetlogorsk pulp-and-cardboard mill OJSC and RUE Newspaper factory. A meeting was also held between the Belarusian delegation headed by First Deputy Minister of Education Irina Starovoitova and Rector of East China Pedagogical University Qian Xuhong on enhancing cooperation between the Shanghai University and leading Belarusian partner universities, the development of the Center for the Study of Belarus at the East China University of Science and Technology identified new areas of interaction.
