Over 27 years of diplomatic relations, the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China have reached a high level of trusting comprehensive strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation. 

Trade, economic and investment ties between the countries are constantly strengthening. Belarus is a key partner of China in Europe in the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative, and the Belarusian-Chinese Industrial Park "Great stone" is an exemplary project of the initiative. On April 25, 2019, at a meeting with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Chinese President XI Jinping announced the transition in Belarusian-Chinese relations to investment cooperation. The Great stone industrial Park should play a special role in this as a place to attract high-tech and international investments.
