Borisov Medications Plant is looking for an investor to create the production of drug substances.
"There is an idea to build a production of substances that does not currently exist in Belarus. We are planning to buy a plot of land, and now actively searching for foreign investors with their technologies and investments. The idea was voiced at all levels, presentation materials were sent to various foreign companies,” said Director General of the enterprise Vitaly Deresh.

At present the enterprise is undergoing a large-scale reconstruction of ampoule production. Here, by the end of this year, three modern process flows will be installed that meet the requirements of GMP. The renewed production will allow producing 90 million ampoules of injectable solutions per year. The volume of investments is 22.5 million dollars.

"Until 2020, we plan to create a department for small-scale production of solid dosage forms by means of reconstruction of one of the floors of the production building with an investment volume of 11.5 million dollars," General Director of the plant shared his plans. Currently, the plant of medications annually produces more than 5 billion tablets, 500 million injectable solutions in ampoules, 185 million capsules, 50 million antibiotic vials in the form of sterile powders, 13 million tubes of ointments and gels, 10 million bottles of tinctures and alcohol solutions.

The company annually develops the release of 12-16 preparations. More than 50% of the production is exported to 24 countries, including CIS, Baltic States, Afghanistan, Georgia, Egypt, Iraq, Yemen, North Korea, Lebanon, Macedonia, Somalia, and the USA. According to the results of work for the first half of 2017, the rate of growth in the volume of export deliveries is expected at 122% to the same period last year, to the domestic market - 119%.
In terms of the number of items and the volume of output in physical terms, Borisov Medications Plant is the leader in the pharmaceutical industry in Belarus. The company claims that every fourth package of medicinal product consumed in the country including imported medicines was produced in Borisov.
