September 12, 2018 in Minsk, the International Conference " Role of PPP projects in achieving of Sustainable Development Goals and improving people’s well-being " is planned. The organizers of the conference are the State Agency National Agency of Investment and Privatization", the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.
This Conference will give the opportunity to get acquainted with international experience and best management practices in implementing infrastructure projects and developing a PPP mechanism to achieve the sustainable development goals and improve people's welfare.

Within the panel discussions, the following aspects will be under consideration: infrastructure development in the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, international experience in PPP development in the regions and Sustainable Development Goals up to 2030, PPP centers role as the key participants of the national infrastructure development process with the use of PPP mechanisms, as well as the position of international development institutions and the bank sector in PPP projects realization.

The heads of state administrative bodies will participate in the Conference, as well as international financial institutes, banks, business representatives, science and academic society, non-governmental organizations.

International experts will share with the participants the perspective of PPP projects strategic development and the best practices in achieving Sustainable development goals, including by PPP projects realization.
