On April 11, 2019 in the state institution "National Agency of Investment and Privatization", a meeting was held with a delegation of Omani business environment arrived in the Republic of Belarus to participate in the meeting of the Belarusian-Omani business cooperation Council. The meeting with the Omani side was attended by a member of the Board of the Omani CCI and representatives of large companies of Oman interested in the development of trade, economic, tourism and investment cooperation between countries, including SEERABECE (organization of exhibitions, events and festivals), Oman Technology Fund (investment in various areas of business), Tayyar Trading LLC (development of security and safety systems), Fast Mover (provision of logistics services). Within the framework of the meeting the possibilities of development of the Belarusian-Omani business cooperation, prospects of implementation of investment projects and other issues of bilateral cooperation were considered. The participants of the meeting exchanged information on the investment climate of the countries. The Agency gave to the Oman representatives the information and promotional materials for distribution to the business community through the chamber of Commerce of Oman of Oman. The parties reached an agreement on the implementation of a permanent exchange of promising investment projects, relevant information on preferential treatment for potential investors.
