National Agency of Investment and Privatization of the Republic of Belarus has become a full member of World Association of PPP Units & Professionals (WAPPP).

WAPPP is non-profit global association, which brings together all public and private stakeholders in the field of Public-Private Partnership (PPP). Its members are both institutional and individual. They include public PPP units, corporate investors, financial investors, and consultants across all sectors. More than a procurement tool, WAPPP considers PPP as a tool for development and for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It promotes best practices and the sharing of knowledge and experience among its members.

Director of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization, Dzmitry Krasoǔski, said: “I believe that joining WAPPP will contribute to the improvement of PPP competences of the department's employees and other interested in PPP parties, development of partnership relations with other WAPPP members, promotion alliances and join forces to contribute to the development of the public private sector in Belarus, promotion of project initiatives of the Republic of Belarus among the world community”.

WAPPP President, Ziad A. Hayek said “We’re proud that the National Agency of Investment and Privatization of the Republic of Belarus is joining WAPPP to promote more sustainable and successful public-private partnerships”.
